All cancellations and
requests for refunds must be made in writing as
indicated below. Requests must be sent to the
NCMA Chesapeake Bay Chapter.
Requests may be e-mailed or mailed (contact
information below). Telephone requests will not be
honored.
- Full Refunds
– More than 30 Days Notice: To receive a
full refund, NCMA
Chesapeake Bay Chapter
must be receive written requests no later
than 30 days prior to the first day of the event
unless a 3rd party policy prohibits the refund.
- 50% Refunds –
Less than 30 Days Notice: Requests for refunds
NCMA Chesapeake Bay
Chapter receives within 30 days of
the start of the conference will be subject to a
50% refund unless a 3rd party policy prohibits
the refund.
- No Refunds –
Within 2 Weeks: Requests for refunds
NCMA Chesapeake Bay
Chapter receives within two weeks of
the start of the event will not be eligible for
a refund.
- Emergency
Illness or Death of Registrant or Immediate
Family Member: Refunds may be granted if an
attendee is unable to attend the event due to a
family death, illness, or other extraordinary
circumstance. In such a circumstance, the
NCMA Chesapeake Bay
Chapter must be contacted by phone,
letter or e-mail. NCMA
Chesapeake Bay Chapter will refund
fees as soon as possible and no later three (3)
weeks after the event has concluded.
- Substitution
Policy: Registrants may send a substitute in
their place in lieu of requesting a refund.
- Extenuating
Circumstances & Inclement Weather: Circumstances
beyond the control of the
NCMA Chesapeake Bay
Chapter may necessitate
substitutions, alterations or cancellations of
the speakers, topics, venue, event and/or date
and time. Therefore,
NCMA Chesapeake Bay Chapter reserves
the right to alter or modify the advertised
speakers topics, venue, event and/or date and
time if necessary. Any substitutions or
alterations will be updated on the
NCMA Chesapeake Bay
Chapter web site and updates will be
sent to the participants as soon as possible.
- Returned Check
Policy: If any checks are returned because of
insufficient funds,
NCMA Chesapeake Bay Chapter will
charge a $25 fee. Registrants will also be
required to pay the amount
NCMA Chesapeake Bay
Chapter is charged by the financial
institution that returned the check.
NCMA Chesapeake Bay
Chapter reserves the right to refuse
to honor future checks submitted by violators.
